Developing with Qt and Cascades for BlackBerry 10 — Erin Rahnenfuehrer, BlackBerry
This talk will give you a hands-on overview how you can use your Qt knowledge to develop apps for the BlackBerry 10 platform. Attending this talk, you will learn about tools and capabilities of the BlackBerry 10 platform and how to start using Qt and Cascades for native application development, including available UI components as well as platform APIs. We will explain all related steps in your workflow - from getting an account to publishing your app in the store. In the hands-on sections of the talk, we will walk through an app which shares a Qt-based business logic backend code and implements UI with either Qt Quick or Cascades UI framework.  If you like to follow this on your development machine during the talk, please download, install and setup Qt Creator 2.8 or 3.0 (if available) via this link http://download.qt-project.org/ as well as the recent version of the BlackBerry 10 native SDK as well as the Simulator available under this link: https://developer.blackberry.com/native/downloads/
